Harold C. “Bud” Wells; 65 years old of Trevor, WI, passed away peacefully Monday October 15, 2012 at his home. He was born March 3, 1947 in Brainerd, MN the son of the late Harold and Emilia (Dullum) Wells, living in Antioch, IL for several years before settling in Trevor in the early 1970’s. Bud proudly served in the US Navy during the Viet Nam Era. Bud had worked many years as an independent contractor in Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include: three daughters: Christine (Greg) Turcotte of Paddock Lake, WI, Amy Wells of Antioch, IL, and Andrea (Andrew) Schneider of Fredericksburg, VA; grandchildren: Taylor, Hannah, Jordan, Marley, and Vaughn (on the way); siblings: Harriet Shaikes of Grayslake, IL, James (Susan) Wells of Racine, WI, and Judi (Bill) Coon of Antioch, IL; 8 nephews, 1 niece, and many friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew Billy Coon.
A Memorial Service will be held 2PM Saturday October 20, 2012 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL 60002, with visitation from 1PM until 3PM Saturday. Interment of ashes will be in Hillside Cemetery, Antioch, IL. Those desiring may make contributions to the Make a Wish Foundation of Illinois 640 N.
